Technical Support Engineer

Job Description

Job Summary

The Technical Support Engineer is responsible for the configuration, testing, monitoring, and support of tracking devices, telematics systems, and IoT solutions. The role involves close coordination with technicians, customers, and internal teams to ensure optimal system performance, customer satisfaction, and continuous product improvement.

 

  1. Tracking Devices & Accessories :
    1. Device Configuration & Testing.
    2. Schedule interventions & Testing with technicians.
    3. Device monitoring, troubleshooting, and support.
    4. Research, testing, and implementation of new products and sensors.
    5. Customer Support & Training.
    6. Software upgrades for existing devices and systems.
    7. Hardware Stock Management.
  2. Documentation & Team Work
    1. Prepare end-of-day reports on a daily basis.
    2. Create flowcharts and other templates that summarize your work.
    3. Document every aspect of the system as a reference for future maintenance and upgrades.
    4. Organize & coordinate with co-workers from different departments.
    5. Select photographs, drawings, diagrams, and charts that enhance user understanding.
  3. Office Workflow
  4. Test and evaluate existing & updated systems.
  5. Determine & Discuss end-user requirements for user-friendly solutions.
  6. Study product samples and collaborate with product designers and developers.
  7. Get usability feedback from customers, designers, and manufacturers.
  8. Provide attentive service for end-users complain & make sure to understand all details of the issue.
